It is a fact that Nature self-organizes in spite it shouldn’t. Basic principles in Physics predict the evolution of the Universe to complete uniformity. Nevertheless at the temporal scale we all live, complex structures emerge everywhere being a good example life itself. During this presentation, we will give some clues to understand some of the amazing mechanisms that Nature chooses to self-organize.

Alberto P. Muñuzuri is a professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela where he leads the Group of Non Linear Physics, and has been collaborating with different scientific groups in Europe and the USA.  Alberto is currently a Visiting Research Scholar in the laboratory of Perez-Mercader at the Rowland Institute at Harvard University.
